About us
The San Rafael Tennis Center is the result of a shared vision for a small, tennis-specific club with a big focus on our members and student-athlete program. Everything that is the San Rafael Tennis Center is by design: our location, our size, our singular focus on tennis, and our annual dues.
We are located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood in San Rafael, California. We plan to offer memberships to no more than 140 players. We have no swimming pool, no gym, and no distractions—just four brand new lighted tennis courts. We are affordable. All of this is by design. In the spirit of building a culture that is both student and member-centric, we are home to Morson Performance Tennis, the premier, year-round tennis program for the student athlete that includes progressive training. Tennis, Simple & Easy
That’s what San Rafael Tennis Center is all about. All you have to do is join at a reasonable price, click onto our registration page, and book a court. The lights go on and off automatically. The courts have just been completely rebuilt. We have a small air conditioned building with bathroom and waiting area for your convenience. And we have two tennis pros who are available for lessons. What makes a tennis-only club special is that everyone you meet is a potential tennis partner. At SRTC, people are friendly, down-to-earth, and active both on and off the tennis courts. We have no club staff, just two great pros to serve the needs of our members.
Facilities
We offer convenient parking for eight vehicles for adult members at San Rafael Tennis Center. Junior members parking is available at the Gallinas Baseball Field as outlined below. As a courtesy and out of respect to our neighbors, please remember to drive slowly.

From US 101 Take North San Pedro Road Exit towards Civic Center (going east) Continue PAST Santa Venetia School about 1 mile. Pass Northbridge. On your left is the Gallinas Child Care Center (an old school) Turn left at that corner, SCHMIDT LANE, and go to end of the block. Enter the field parking lot gate on left side, proceed into the lot. Do not park too close to the field (Foul ball hazard) during games. Walk (West) approximately 50ft to steps and gate toward tennis courts.
Club Hours: 10:00 am - 10:00 pm seven days a week.
